PNG Hekari FC has officially welcomed two international signings as the club steps up its preparations for the inaugural OFC Professional League. Striker John Orobulu from the Solomon Islands and midfielder John Alick from Vanuatu arrived in Port Moresby today, greeted warmly by club officials and players at Jacksons International Airport.

The pair’s arrival marks a significant boost to Hekari’s squad depth and quality ahead of the regional competition, which is set to kick off in January 2026 across multiple venues in Oceania. Orobulu brings proven goal-scoring ability and attacking flair, while Alick is known for his composure, passing precision, and leadership in midfield.

Their inclusion underscores Hekari’s determination to compete at the highest level and represent Papua New Guinea with pride in the region’s first-ever fully professional football league. With these reinforcements, the club’s preparations are in full swing and the countdown to kick-off has officially begun.
