During their stay in Honiara for Round 4 of the OFC Pro League, PNG Hekari FC took time away from match preparations to visit local schools and community institutions, including White River Primary School, Vura Primary School and White River Police Station, strengthening community ties while inspiring the next generation.

PNG Hekari FC is back in action this afternoon against Vanuatu Chiefs in Round 2 at the National Football Stadium, aiming to build momentum and deliver a strong home performance in the OFC Pro League.

PNG Hekari FC has confirmed the resignation of Head Coach Marcos Gusmao, who has stepped down for personal and family reasons. The club expresses its sincere gratitude for his valuable contributions, including the development of a long-term technical plan to support youth growth. Assistant Coach Jerry Allan will take charge of the team for the remainder of the season as the club begins the process of appointing a new Head Coach.

PNG Hekari FC delivered a spirited performance against league leaders Auckland FC, holding firm through a tense first half highlighted by heroic goalkeeping from Dave Tomare and strong pressure from Raymond Gunemba. Despite their resilience, two late stoppage-time goals broke Hekari hearts as Auckland maintained their perfect OFC Pro League record.
